Frequently Asked Questions
Your aesthetic specialist will perform a thorough consultation to determine the best approach and plan of care for your needs and desired look. Most patients require 3-5 treatments for maximum benefit, each spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Since not all hairs are in the same growth stage at the same time, multiple treatments are needed to target all hair in the treatment site.
Treatment time varies from 15-30 minutes depending on area treated. Protective glasses will be placed over your eyes for safety. A clear gel will be applied to the skin. BBL energy is delivered with a cooled applicator so there is minimal or no discomfort. Most patients find the treatment comfortable. At times you may feel a warm or stinging sensation.
It is best to shave the treatment area prior to your appointment for best results.
There is no downtime. You may resume your normal activities immediately. It is recommended that you avoid direct sun exposure and use sunscreen post treatment.
Most patients find the treatment comfortable. At times you may feel a warm or stinging sensation.
Slight redness may also be noted that resolves in a few hours. While many patients have slight discomfort during/immediately after the treatment, some patients experience no discomfort at all.
You will experience loss of hair immediately after your treatment. Most patients require a package of 3-6 treatments, each spaced 6 weeks apart, to shrink the hair follicle. A few days to a week after treatment you may experience what appears to be a regrowth of hair. Most of these hairs are actually being shed as a result of your Forever Bare BBL ™ and not growing back.
Indefinitely! However, you may require maintenance treatments on an as needed basis.
