You should not receive ESWT treatments if you have a history of prostatectomy. Please notify your provider if you have a history of failed response to erectile dysfunction medication treatments in the past or previous penile implant. Do not seek ESWT treatments if you have an active STD lesion or genital sores. It is advised that you stay off non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications 10 days prior to ESWT treatments.
